I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Road safety and road traffic offences including speeding, driving uninsured tax, using mobile phone no seatbelt whilst driving or Drink/drug driving, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

Today I visited Hackleton Primary School and conducted foot patrols to deter illegal parking. I am pleased to report there was no illegal parking. We understand that whilst some parking may be inconvenient, we can only act within our legal powers, and will seek to educate motorists first, with a punitive approach being a last resort.
